Inform: Measuring Student Growth with MAP

Always start a new query by clicking first on the “Reports” tab and then clicking on the “Create” button as pictured below.
Next, as pictured below, you will complete these four steps: (Steps are below the picture!)
- Select either “Reading” or “Mathematics” from the Subject pull-down menu. (The year should already appear as the current year–which is the default.)
- Click the “Get Assessments” button
- Click the arrow next to NWEA MAP and check the box for “MAP-MTRdg-XX” (The XX will be replaced with your grade level.)
- Click “Create Report”
Repeat these steps for Mathematics by choosing “Mathematics” as the subject and selecting the appropriate Math assessment.
*Tip – By moving your mouse over the bars on the graph, you can read exactly how many (number) students are meeting and exceeding and what percentage of students are meeting and exceeding.
